Churches United Celebration Day, Revival

This event is coordinated by St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Columbia and will feature music, dance, and drama. Free food, games, and children’s activities provided!

This year, we have reserved a booth for the diocese at the Pride Festival. Bishop Scanlan will be in attendance.

We are currently seeking volunteers for three shifts, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

St. Stephen’s
Cathedral’s Mission
and Justice Initiative to “Transform Jersey Shore Area”

Journey with St. Stephen’s Mission and Justice Initiative to Transform Jersey Shore Area in Pennsylvania. Trinity Episcopal, led by The Rev. Veronica Donohue Chappell, in ecumenical partnership throughout the diocese and other faith groups, has committed to rebuild under-resourced areas in Jersey Shore, PA.

The Rev. Shayna Watson, Canon Pastor, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, is helping to recruit volunteers. Convocations that will be represented are Mt. Calvary Church (Harrisburg) and St. James Church (Lancaster). St. James has been supporting TJSA since its inception.

A Day at Camp with Bishop Scanlan

Join Bishop Scanlan for a fun family and youth day on August 24 at Camp Mount Luther.

We will enjoy a day together meeting other families and youth from our Diocese.

There will be activities all day, such as hikes, ropes courses, and games, ending with worship.

October 11-14, 2019,
Province III – Trail to Truth: Pilgrimage of Racial Reconciliation

Join the Province III Youth Committee for a pilgrimage by bus from Washington D.C. to Philadelphia, PA to discuss and dismantle the history of racism in the church and government.

This event is for six of our diocesan youth who will be going into grades 9-12 in 2019. If interested, contact rszoke@diocesecpa.org.

Episcopal Youth Event (EYE20) will be held in partnership with the Washington National Cathedral and the Episcopal Diocese of Washington on the campus of Howard University. This event is for any youth who has completed ninth grade June as of 2020. We will continue to update you as we get information.
