Why is this relevant in our world today?

The Mercy Seminar explores why people have a passion for their own faith but fear or concerns about other faiths, and are bewildered by religious intolerance and where it comes from.

Beginning September 23rd, the Mercy Seminar begins a new term focused on the Islamic faith. While the seminar assumes attendees have no prior knowledge of Islam, it will continue its focus on how God’s mercy, repentance and grace are apparent in similar and different ways to Judaism and Christianity.

The learning method is contemplative with some simple reading of short passages of the Qu’ran and Hadith.

Brief meditation begins and a prayer ends each session which runs for 6 Thursday evenings from 7 – 8:30 PM.
