Why Give to the Stevenson School for Ministry?
Our need for local training is critical to the mission of the church and the sustaining of the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Central PA. The reality of Christian Education and theological studies has shifted in part because 83% of the congregations in our diocese can only afford half-time or quarter-time clergy leadership. It is critical for our diocese to continue to educate and deepen our spirituality to strengthen how we follow the Way of Love in a world that often struggles to love.
How You Can Give to the Stevenson School for Ministry
You can provide a one-time gift to the Stevenson School for Ministry. Every gift helps to make a difference. Read below for ways to give.
Annual Giving keeps the faculty teaching, the staff meeting the students’ needs, and the diocese educating and forming leadership. The yearly Stevenson School for Ministry fund is one source in our development plan for unrestricted funds which allows us to direct the funds to where the needs and opportunities best support formation needed in The Stevenson School for Ministry.
Honor a person or give a gift in memory of a loved one or friend, this is one special way to show your support of the vision and mission of the Stevenson School for ministry. You might want to honor a particular person giving thanks for them on their birthday, or anniversary, or even as a way to mark any rite of passage. Or you might want to honor the memory of a friend or loved one. Either way, your gift will touch the lives of those who are deepening their faith through education and learning while responding to the call to serve God.
