Session 1 – Leading Evangelism: Finding Your Good News Niche (Friday, March 18)

During this session, participants will be given the tools needed to investigate and articulate where their gifts and passions, and to also consider where the gifts and passions of their ministry context (congregation, ministry team, diocese, etc.) lie. They will also be asked to find the intersection of these assets with the needs, longings, and gifts of the community they and their ministry context serve and consider how they can be Good News for and with each other. mission field9:30 am

Session 2 – Leading Evangelism: Designing your Good News Ministry (Saturday, March 19)

During this session, participants will be invited to develop the outline of an evangelistic event or ministry that could equip their ministry context for a missional task using the information they gather in the previous session.

They will consider: Ways to involve the entire church (or diocese or community) in the work of evangelism, how to make space for seekers to ask questions and explore faith, how to create ways for their group to be a transformative presence there, articulate potential examples of how Good News will be shared through both word and example in their context.

This online workshop occurs over two days: Friday, March 18, 6:30-8:30 pm and Saturday, March 19, 9:30 -12:00 pm eastern time.
