The first Saturday free meal has been part of the mission of Christ Episcopal Church for the last decade. Each month, the doors are open to the entire community to join in the sharing of a home-cooked meal and fellowship among neighbors. Often, college fraternities and sororities, girl scout troops, service organizations, and other members of the community help serve our guests. Along with the meals served, take -out meals are available and over 40 meals are delivered to senior citizens living in neighboring high-rise facilities.
