Each year, St. Andrew’s, State College invites people from all backgrounds and beliefs to discuss topics affecting our communities and our world. Previous topics have included the COVID pandemic and Creation Care. This year, they are excited to share that the topic is “And Who Is My Neighbor?” Through this topic assignment, St. Andrews hopes contestants will seek to address the polarization and animosity that seem so prevalent in our world today, as well as examining how storytelling and knowing someone’s story can combat this division.
Submissions are open from now until May 1, 2024. First and second-place winners will be awarded cash prizes, as well as Bishop Scanlan’s choice pick. For more information and to submit your poem, please go to http://artsat.standrewsc.org.
