2025 Poetry Contest

St. Andrew’s annual poetry contest began as a project to support the arts and an experiment in “public theology” to engage people from within and outside the church in conversation about themes that are provocative, relevant to the times, and that have religious meaning but can be interpreted broadly. We did this by asking people to share their responses to the theme in the form of a poem.

This year, our theme is SANCTUARY.
