Evangelism 101 with Jerusalem Greer

The Diocesan Evangelism Committee isdelighted to invite teams from every parish to a one-day workshop on how tostrengthen and focus parish evangelism.

Why should each parish participate?The highly interactive workshop will focus not just on “why” but on “how.” Whatare the lessons learned nationally and internationally about how we can becomebetter messengers of the Good News? What gifts of the laity can bestrengthened? How can we learn to tell our story more effectively?

Our keynote speaker, Ms. Jerusalem JacksonGreer (www.jerusalemgreer.com),works for the Presiding Bishop as staff officer for evangelism. She serves as aresource consultant for Baptized for Life and dis a member of the Council ofAdvice for Episcopal Relief and Development. She is the author of At Home in this Life: Finding Peace atthe Crossroads of Unraveled Dreams and Beautiful Surprises (2017) and A Homemade Year: TheBlessings of Cooking, Crafting, and Coming Together (2013). She has many presentations on Youtube.

Lunch will be provided. Daycare willbe also available, and we will also provide a children’s program. The incomefrom a small registration fee of $10 will be donated to the Mission of theResurrection.
