Forma — the Network for Christian Formation for the Episcopal Church and beyond — will hold its annual professional conference for both lay and ordained formation leaders on Jan. 26-29 in Denver, CO. The 2026 Forma Conference is for anyone — paid or volunteer, part- or full-time — who holds responsiblity for Christian formation. This includes educators, consultants, camp and conference coordinators, publishers, advisers, those who work in parish and diocesan offices, and more. The theme of this year’s conference is “Belonging and Becoming” based on Corinthians 2:
All of us are looking with unveiled faces at the glory of the Lord as if we were looking in a mirror. We are being transformed into that same image from one degree of glory to the next degree of glory. This comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. — 2 Corinthians 3:18
Early registration costs $500 if completed by December 31, and $600 after that. For those who cannot afford it, scholarships are available through both the diocese and Province III. Province III will also hold a “Beyond Forma” post-conference retreat at the Claggett Center in Adamstown, MD, on Feb. 9-12. Scholarships are also available for the post-conference retreat.
