Episcopal Migration Response Network (EMRN) Advent Vigil

In the Christian liturgical year, Advent is a time of waiting and preparation for the birth of Jesus, a time of prayerful yearning for Emmanuel — God with us.

This prayer vigil liturgy offered by Episcopal Migration Ministries is particularly poignant this year as we remember those fleeing persecution and war and seeking safety, just as Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus did.

The Dioceses of Central Pennsylvania and Bethlehem took an active role in helping to plan this year’s Advent Vigil and we are inviting everyone in the new Episcopal Diocese of the Susquehanna to join us in making this a truly memorable experience.
