Shaped by Faith presents a Choral Ascension Day Service

As part of the Shaped by Faith collaboration between Holy Trinity, Hollidaysburg, and St. Luke’s, Altoona, the two parishes have launched a joint effort to renew their music ministries. This initiative includes special services, the addition of a choirmaster and section leaders, and the recruitment of volunteer singers from both congregations and the wider community.

The third event in this series—a Choral Eucharist for Ascension Day—will take place on Thursday, May 29, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s, Altoona. The Rev. Jeanne Jacobson will preside, and licensed lay preacher Padraic Farrell will deliver the homily. The service will feature hymns, a sung psalm and benediction, and Glory to God from Handel’s Messiah. A reception will follow.
