World Peace Day One Concert

On September 21, in honor of World Peace Day, the students of St. Stephen’s Episcopal School will be holding an assembly at 9 a.m. in the church. We are joining with schools, choirs and organizations all over the world in One Day One Choir, an initiative begun in 2014 by the United Nations. We will share songs, poems, artwork, and prayers about peace. The entire school will sing “Dona Nobis Pacem”(Grant Us Peace), and each grade level will sing their own songs. The aim of Peace Day is “to commemorate and strengthen the ideals of peace with the further intention of uniting the strengths of organizations projects and peoples around the world in order to make peace a more practical reality for the children of this and future generations.” You are invited to join us to celebrate World Peace Day.
